Services: Holly Funeral Home - Waupaca 526 S. Main Street P.O. Box 254 Waupaca, WI 715-258-4020   A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, July
16 from 4 to 7 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca
with a Memorial Service to celebrate Lloyd's life to
follow. Following the services there will be
Military Honors. In lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund
will be established for the Waupaca Little League in
Lloyd's name.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rathjen,
Riverside Medical Center and Theda Care Hospice for
all of their care and support.

Lloyd O. Wanty, age 81, of Waupaca, beloved and
loving husband, father and grandfather died
peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 13, 2010.
Lloyd was born in the Town of Lanark on September
4, 1928, the son of the late Alfred C. and Edna
(Boushley) Wanty. On December 31, 1950, he
married Violet Marie Thompson. Before his
retirement, Lloyd provided for his family as a
master carpenter. He served his country in the
U.S. Army during the Korean War stationed in Kobi,
Japan.
Lloyd was selfless in his generosity in helping
others. He was an avid sports fan and coached
from home base,his recliner. Lloyd's
unconditional love for his family was unwavering.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 59 years, Violet,
Waupaca; his loving children: Lynn (Thomas)
Hansen, Wisconsin Rapids; Nora (Kenneth) Boone,
Austin, TX; Scott (Tracy) Wanty, Waupaca; Patrick
Wanty, Austin, TX; Susan Buchanan, Austin, TX;
Thomas (Nicole) Wanty, Waupaca; his treasures (his
grandchildren): C. Samuel Boone & fiancé, Jennifer
Mendosa, San Antonio, TX; Tyler Lloyd Boone &
partner, Lindsey Steaples, Austin, TX; Ashley
Marie Buchanan & Allyson Lindsay Buchanan, Austin,
TX; Luke Austin Wanty, Zachary Ty Wanty and Paige
Marie Roy Wanty all of Waupaca. His brothers &
sisters: Dorothy Peskie, Almond; Norma Schultz,
Waupaca; Raymond Wanty, Waupaca; Richard (Arylene)
Wanty, Waupaca; Mary (Paul) Frazer, Bowie,
Maryland; Shirley (David) Strange, Appleton and
also by many beloved nieces & nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents, a daughter,
Sharon Ann, a son, Paul Richard, two brothers,
William & Leor (Bud) and two sisters, Marge Pryse
and Phyllis Stiebs.
