Services:   A Memorial Service will be held at the Highland
Memorial Park Chapel in Appleton at 2 PM on Friday,
July 28th, 2006. The Reverend Jonathan Sachs,
Chaplain of Bethany Home will officiate. Entombment
will be in Highland Memorial Park. Memorial
Visitation will be held Friday 1-2 P.M. at Highland
Memorial Park Chapel.

Nora C. Kleist, age 88, Waupaca, Wisconsin,
formerly of Appleton, passed away Saturday, July
22nd, 2006 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. Mrs.
Kleist was born in the Township of Worden, Clark
County, Wisconsin on June 26, 1918, she was the
daughter of the late Edward and Clara (Thielke)
Western.
Nora enjoyed reading and working crossword
puzzles.
She is survived by Sons: Kenneth (Mary Lou)
Kleist, Madison; Clark (Jane) Kleist, Waupaca;
Daughter: Gail (James) O'Keefe, Waupaca;
Grandsons: Timothy O'Keefe, Waupaca; Peter
(Melanie) O'Keefe, Waupaca; John O'Keefe, Madison;
Granddaughters: Ivy Kleist, Waupaca; Shelley
O'Keefe, Waupaca; Great Granddaughter: Emma
O'Keefe; Brothers: Harvey Western, Oshkosh;
Raymond (Wilma) Western, Lake Forest, Illinois;
Sisters: Mrs. Dorothy (Howard) Seefeldt, Oakes,
North Dakota; Mrs. Clare Mae McKnight, Houston,
Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by Five
Brothers: Alvin, Norman, Earl, Edward & Glenn
Western, and by Two Sisters: Mrs. Mildred Siebert
and Mrs. Edna Wiles.
