Hal and I were best friends for over 50 years. We did everything together. Went fishing together, sat at the bar together and even shared printing issues together because we were both printers. Went on several fishing trips together. Several trips to Ely Minnesota. He's in my prayers every night and I say that I miss him and love him. He always protected me and looked out after me. I miss him so much and It's still hard for me to understand that I will never see him again. I love you buddy with every breath that I have left in me and all of my heart. When I look back at pictures when we were younger, I think of all the memories I have and those memories will last until we meet again and we will. Love you buddy. Johnny

Missing an uncle who all my life went out of his way to help me, and give me advice when i asked for it. When I was 16 he loaned me his 750cc Norton Atlas to drive 225 miles up to Waupaca.. also at 16 let me use his 440 Dodge. Who trusts a 16 year old with that? He Always Did! When I was 18 he got me my first handgun a Ruger single six 22. Also a beautiful Browning knife I used for my new Sailing job. He and Johnny used to Help Rodney and I put new parts in Rods 1968 Camaro. Years later when i visited Waupaca he would call his boating friends and see if they would loan my their boat on the Chain. Him and I would go fishing together usually the only bites i got were mosquitos! Anytimes i needed something he was there for me. Once i used his truck to take my boat in for trade in Madison. Anytime that I could do something for him I would. Like searching for old friends of his on the internet, usually old Airforce buddys. In later years I didnt see him often but id call him a couple times a month to check in. He was always doing something outside keeping busy so wed talk maybe 20 minutes. Until the next time. I kept running into him at Fleet Farm he had changed so much i didnt know it was him poking me in the back at the check out until I heard his and Helens voice. He was always big on hugs and always departing tell me he loved me. Uncle its hard to type with one eye full of tears. I dreamed of him talking to me and saying as he would Davy Boy we'll be together again but be in no hurry I can wait and then we will go fishing again. There is so much more but suffice to say uncle you are surely missed and foever in my heart.

Helen, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you...Kyle loved doing things with Harold up north and they definately had a special bond. He absolutely love hanging out with him, working on the boat, and sitting around and chatting with him... he will definately be missed, but I am soo thankf for the bond that he made with Kyle throughout the years...always in our hearts, love the Seefeldt Family, Matt, Cheryl, Kyle, and Lexi

Our condolences go out to the Harris family. Hal was a person that made many friends almost instantly. We were part of his campground "tribe" and looked forward to sharing campfires, stories and humor. Hal made his mark with us and he will be forever remembered as an example of kindness and thoughtfulness. Wish we could have had him longer but God must have big plans for him. Rest in peace our gentle friend!
