I will like to send my sypmathys to the family and friends. I am a former student of Miss. Hamm. She was a wonderful teacher. I was also able to see her in church, an her love for GOD was truly a blessing. She will be greatly missed.
Miss Ham was an awe inspiring woman who touched the hearts of all her students. She believed in each and everyone of her students. Her love of art was spilled onto her classes over the years. I remember specifically how she helped my sister, who is disabled and paints with her feet, to have her art recognized around the United States! Miss Ham was an amazing woman and will be sorely missed, but each of her students carry a bit of her talent with them through life. God Bless her family.
To Sherry's family: I am sorry to hear of her passing. My son was a student of hers at WLC and he really enjoyed her classes. When he had a friend send him a text regarding the sad news, he was really upset. My son was priveleged to have had her for a teacher and to have had the opportunity to benefit from her knowledge and talent. He, along with many of her other students I'm sure, will always remember her fondly.
Miss Hamilton was my art teacher almost 20 years ago and the impression she left with me has never faded. She made art fun but it was her energy that I will never forget. Although my art skills have probably not progressed since elementary school, what she taught me was deeper than that. She showed me caring. Now I've made my career out of that and help others every day in the medical field. I hope Miss Hamilton's family knows that she not only lives on in all the people she touched personally, but everyone else who has been effected by the ones she taught. I am so sorry for your loss and her memory will be cherished. Five years ago I placed the memory blanket over my step-dad at cherry meadows hospice and escorted him home and I pray that the family will be comforted by all the warm wishes being sent their way.
