Dennis G. Farrell, age 74, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020. He was born on August 21, 1945 in Milwaukee, WI; son of Robert J. and Kathryn (Studinger) Farrell. On September 25, 1965 he married Belle Bengert in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He was a long time resident of West Allis, WI and worked for many years at Hy-Test Safety Shoes and Equipment as a sales representative. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. Denny had a huge love of billiards and cards and was the 1973 Greater Milwaukee 8-Ball City Champion. He welcomed a good game of cribbage with anyone who would play, especially his oldest grandson, Trent. He was also an avid car guy with a love for hot rods and classic cars. Denny was an enthusiastic story teller and relished having an audience. We’re sure he never embellished the details of the stories. Denny will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends. Denny is survived by his wife: Belle “Gert” Farrell of Waupaca, WI; two children: John (Lynn) Farrell of New Berlin, WI and Colleen (Scott) Stoltmann of Menomonee Falls, WI; three grandchildren: Trent, Quinn and Ellie; one brother: Robert (Sue) Farrell and two sisters: Ginny (Ron) Frievalt and Janice (Randy) Woda. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond (Sue) Farrell and his parents, Robert and Kathryn Farrell Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 17th at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. Father Xavier Santiago will preside. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
