Gaylord H. Nowak

August 8, 1932 - April 15, 2022

Gaylord Nowak, age 89 of Waupaca, WI passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Wild Rose. Gaylord was born on August 8, 1932; son of the late Herman and Erma (Boelter) Nowak in the Town of Springwater. He was self-employed working as a carpenter most of his career. Gaylord married Audrey Anderson on January 1, 1955; she preceded him in death on November 30, 1994. After Audrey’s passing, he married Judith Lick on May 15, 2014 in Waupaca. He enjoyed his flowers, gardening, fishing, hunting and traveling. Gaylord is survived by his wife; Judith Lick-Nowak of Waupaca, WI, step-children; Pamela (Michael) Rule of CA, Denise (Lane) Whiteside of TN, David (Kelly) Minton of CO, five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law; Ron (Jane) Bowker of TX, also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife; Audrey, and his six siblings; Harvey, Orvile, Caroline, Shirley, Virgil and Angeline. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 21st at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Farmington. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
