Jean Fritsch Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Norajean (Jean) Fritsch, 79, passed away on June 10, 2022 at her home in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Jean was married to Wayne Fritsch. Together they shared life for 47 years and raised 3 children. She said the most important thing in her life was her family, and asked to be remembered as a loving daughter, wife and mother. During her life she was a nurse, mother, and later ran a family dairy farm with her husband and children. Most recently she enjoyed helping many people by working as a FISC counselor for Goodwill Industries. Jean was very creative and enjoyed painting, sewing, and decorating, as well as gardening and birds. Jean is survived by daughters Deborah, Barbara, and son, John (Cari); grandchildren Jason (Crystal), Anna, Amy, Travis, Zachary, Caitlin (Matthew), Evelyn, Gillian, Griffin; great-grandchildren Luke, Lorelai, Hudson and Amorah; and sister, Kristine. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her brother Rick, and granddaughter Amadea. A Memorial Service will be held on June 21, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Parfreyville United Methodist Church, N1979 County Road K, Waupaca, Wisconsin. Visitation will be at 10:00 am, memorial service at 11:00 am, with a luncheon to follow. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. Jean will be laid to rest beside her husband in Oakwood Cemetery in Merrillan, Wisconsin in a private family ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Waupaca Area Food Pantry to honor Jean’s passion for helping others.
