Your heart of gold stopped beating, your working hands put at rest. God broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best. Leaves and flowers may wither, the golden sun may set. But the hearts that loved you dearly are the ones that won’t forget! You are gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from my heart. Our hearts still ache in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you, no one shall know. We did not see you close your eyes or hear your last sigh. We only heard that you were gone, too late to say the final goodbye. No farewell words were spoken; there was no time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only god knows why. You will forever be our bright shining star, guiding us no matter where we are. This painful goodbye that we had to say is not forever. All this painful goodbye means is that we will miss you until we meet you again. It's hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember. All the time, for every single one of us, we have memories sneak out of our eyes and roll down our cheeks. You were an awesome person, Dayton, and we can not wait to see you again. The times you lived through, the people you shared those times with, were so meaningful. You're not dead if we keep speaking your name. God gave us memory so that we will never forget those we loved the most. I have seen that their are no happy endings, it was proven when we lost you, but their can be a happy life after when our heavenly father brings us together once more. I’ll be seeing you in all the old famillair places that this heart of mine embraces all day through. One more day, one more time, one more sunset, maybe i’d be satisfied. But then again i know what it would do, leave me to wish still for one more day with you. I long for your presence, for you voice, your hugs and your joys. I look in your room after school just wishing that you were there. Where you used to be, there is a hole in the world, which i find myself constantly walking around in the daytime, and falling in at night. I miss you like hell almost as if my life just fell.
