Fran had a special way of making each of her caregivers feel they were special. Her stories, her sweet personality, her smile will be missed. It was a honer to care for Fran.
Frances Bowen will always live in my heart as a loving and caring mom who could cope with a stream of activity and children's boundless energy. She loved and cared for animals with the same care and compassion. Her love of baking and sharing the efforts of her labor have been appreciated by many; especially the sweet, braided rings at Christmas time, with raisins. She must have made hundreds over the years for so many to enjoy. Frances' door was always open, the coffee pot on and a place at her table was always available no matter how long or short the stay. My fondest memories of childhood are of being partners in crime with Cathy, Janet and David and Frances' understanding that "kids do stuff." Then came the blessings of Tori & Lori, who furthered the legacy. Her heart was as big as all outdoors, her rules were/are ones to live by (being living, fair, kind, helpful and tolerant & so much more), and her mind full of the hundreds of books she enjoyed reading so much. She will be deeply missed but will be forever in our hearts. Hugs and love to all. In Light, Joy 🕯️
