PS: Hi Cookie ! Hope all is well with you - MKS
Thanks for the "Weller" Rural Store. The late Ruth Barlow Donahue along with many friends, included myself, were always buying ice cream cones at the store. It was just down the road from "Grandma Barlow's" . Oh what great memories of the late '50's - "Rural", the Weller family, the Barlow family and the Weller Country Store. I will always have those great memories!!
great guy loved playing ball for him
Sorry Rural Wisconsin ment to say.
Ellen, Lino, Bob, Steve, i’m sorry for your loss it was a great opportunity to grow up with you guys and girls including grandma . We spent a lot of time together in Vernal growing up at Golden Hill school the opportunity to run down the store and have ice cream and Popsicles play ball together and have our parents be friends to the point where we went to Florida on vacation together as we went to Fort Myers and Lehigh acres truly good memories. Watching the spring training camp of the Kansas City Royals yes we were in Florida beautiful memories my mother and my father reflecting back on that and remember it very well as well as Mike and I do God bless.
I worked it thee rural artist store net to him years ago we got to be good friends an had good times was such a nice man , i am so sorry he is gone . My sympathy to the family. And prayers
Great person and great coach, loved playing ball for him, he will be missed.
I remember Boob when my dad, Carl Anderson, was playing for the Waupaca Lakemen.
He was younger than many of the guys but fit right in. Condolences to the Welles family.
