I had a favorite old photo I wanted to upload but the website wouldn't let me - I'll put it on Facebook so you all can see it. It's taken on the back porch at Grandma and Grandpa's. It's a random assortment of the family and none of us are really smiling - must be the Grandma in us! But when I think of my Aunt Viona, this is how I picture her - always in her white "tennies", running around organizing everything. I will miss her and wish I had been able to see her more often.

Vi was such a special lady. Our kids were so grateful to have her as their "Waupaca grandma." She will be missed by many.

Lori, I am so sorry for the loss of your mom! If you are any indication of who she was, she was a truly awesome woman! Wish I could be there with you to give you lots of hugs. You made her last days with you absolutely wonderful-that made a world of difference. Know that I am sending you lots of hugs. I did not know Viona, but my Mom (daughter of Henry Nicolaisen) did
and spoke so well of her. I spent time with Augie and always enjoyed his
company. I am sad for your loss.
