Guy P. Rashke

Guy Rashke, age 69 of Waupaca, WI passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at UW Health University in Madison, WI. Guy was born on May 21, 1953; son of the late Donald and Diana (Wozniak) Rashke on the U.S. Naval Base in Rural-Shields Township, IL. Guy grew up in Amherst, WI graduating from Amherst High School in 1971. He then married Elizabeth “Liz” Lukasavage on September 23, 1974 in Waupaca, WI. Guy worked for the Waupaca Foundry until his retirement in 2016. Guy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodcarving and model railroad. He was a member of the Senior Center and the Waupaca Area Woodcarving Club. Guy is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Rashke of Waupaca, WI; son, Peter (Holly) Rashke of Shreveport, LA; daughters, Sandra Mundt of New London, WI; Michelle Rashke of Waupaca, WI; brothers, Daniel (Patti) Rashke of Madison, WI; Bruce (Barb) Rashke of Pardeville, WI; Richard (Heidi) Rashke of Plover, WI; sisters, Theresa “Terri” (John) Kuffel of Stevens Point, WI; Sandra Rashke-Smith of Kansas City, MO; special cousin, Pat (Ed) Norkett of Waukesha, WI; Loving stepmom, Patricia Rashke of Georgetown, TX; adopted sister, Misti Rashke of San Diego, CA; granddaughters, Shoshana Kamke of Weyauwega, WI; Shavana Kamke of New London, WI; Lillian Mundt of Weyauwega, WI; grandsons, Bryant Kamke of New London, WI; Alex Rashke, stationed in Alaska; Ivan Rashke of Louisiana; great-grandchildren, Oaklynd Kamke and Ellaina Mundt of Weyauwega, WI; uncle, Richard (Paula) Rashke of Beaver Dam, WI; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Guy was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents, Guy and Angie Rashke, maternal grandparents, Eleanor and Edmund Wozniak, step grandpa, Sigmund Wysocki. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Memorial Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM at Holly’s.
