Agnes A. Maggio's Obituary
Agnes Ann Maggio, age 94, of Waupaca, passed away peacefully at her home, with her family by her side on January 17th, 2015. She was born on June 1, 1920 in Royalton, WI, a daughter of the late Joyce John and Marian (Fisher) Wheeler. On July 1, 1940, she was united in marriage to Dominick Maggio.
Agnes is survived by daughters: Joyce Maggio, Waupaca; Mary (Brian) Hopkinson, DePere; Sharyn (Lee) Bennett, Austin, TX; sons: Rocky (Alice); Bob (Laurie); Don (Cindy) and Jim, all of Waupaca: and daughters-in-law Judy Maggio and Barb Maggio. There are 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominick; children, Louis, Nancy, Tom and Cheryl; grandchild, Cheryl; great grandchildren, Ken, Mason and Yolanda; her brother, Jack; and sisters, Marian and Shirley.
Agnes worked for many years as a cook at Riverside Medical Center before retiring. She was a member of Calvary Chapel in Waupaca.
The funeral service for Agnes will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Saturday, January 24th, 2015, with Father Richard Lesniak, officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca at a later date. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
