Alice C. Landowski's Obituary
Mrs. Alice C. Landowski, age 84, Scandinavia, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, December 6th, 2005 at Appleton Medical Center, Appleton, Wisconsin. Mrs. Landowski was born in Amherst Jct., Wisconsin on April 25, 1921, daughter of the late Joseph and Pearl (Platta) Ostrowski. On Nov 24, 1945, she married Adolph J. Landowski at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church-Fancher. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1978. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community Waupaca, Wisconsin. Alice enjoyed spending time with children and grandchildren. She enjoyed polka music, attending parish picnic's and family gatherings. She is survived by Sons: Michael (Kathy) Landowski, Stevens Point; Carl (Jenny) Landowski, Scandinavia; Paul Landowski, Scandinavia; Daughters: Monica (Frank) Jurgella, Stevens Point; Judy Landowski, Scandinavia; Donna (Paul G.) Woyak, Amherst; Mary (Robert) Wroblewski, Bancroft; 17 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild, Sisters in law: Christine Ostrowski, Amherst Jct; Dolores Ostrowski, Stevens Point. Alice is also survived by numerous relatives and other friends. She was preceded in death by 6 Sisters and 5 Brothers. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community, Waupaca, Wisconsin. at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 10th, with Reverend John Becker officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery Waupaca. Visitation will be held Friday 4-8 P.M. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. at Holly Funeral Home-Waupaca.
