Alice Ehr Wiberg
Alice Ehr Wiberg, 86, West Bend, formerly of Amherst Junction, WI died peacefully in her sleep at The Kathy Hospice with her family at her side on Dec. 29, 2015 after a recurring battle with cancer.
Alice was born on November 8, 1929 in Milwaukee to Harold and Alyce (Strelka) Berg. She was married to Thomas P. Ehr, Feb. 7, 1948, in Milwaukee, WI. They were married 58 years. After raising their 10 children, Alice was employed at Lasata Nursing Home, Cedarburg, WI for many years. They retired in 1990 and moved to Amherst Junction. Thomas died Feb. 11, 2006. She married Roy Wiberg, Amherst Junction, on Aug. 25, 2007. He died Feb. 22, 2014.
Survivors include: Wayne Schmidt (special friend), West Bend; five sons: Thomas J. (Mitzi), Amherst Junction, William (Sharon), West Bend, Joseph (Sharon), Ogdensburg, Harold (Kathy), Custer, John (Laura), Amherst Junction; four daughters: Patricia (James) Barrette, West Bend, Christine Ostrowski, Amherst Junction, Mary (Alan) Schmucker, Port Washington, Barbara (Terry) Block, Tigerton; daughter-in-law, Marcia (Robert) Skibba, Amherst Junction; sister, Dolores (Charles) Frank, Amherst Junction; brother, James (Ellie) Berg, Mineral Wells, Texas; 31 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Gerald M. Ehr; son-in-law, Peter Ostrowski; five brothers, Harold (Bud), Raymond, Robert, Richard, and William Berg.
Jungers-Holly funeral home in Amherst will assist with final arrangements. A visitation and memorial service will be held at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home, 262 S. Main St., Amherst on Tues. Jan. 5, 2016 at 10:00 am with the Pastor Dean Oldson and Pastor Marcia Carrier officiating. Condolences may be offered on line at www.hollyfuneralhome.com .
