Alice Prasch's Obituary
Alice R. Prasch, age 91, of Wild Rose, WI., passed away on Friday, March 4th, 2011 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose. She was born in Chicago, IL., on November 18, 1919, a daughter of the late William and Margaret (McNichols) Minor. Alice married James L. Prasch on November 29, 1941 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1962. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wautoma. Alice was a member of the womens Red Hat Society. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, playing cards. Alice loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her Children: James (Diane) Prasch, Wild Rose, WI; John (Debbie) Prasch, Wild Rose, WI; Alice (Gregg) Davies, Beaver Dam, WI; Margaret Prasch, Wild Rose, WI; Ann (Robert) Leinweber, Woodstock, IL; Grandchildren: Daniel (Special Friend - Leah Frankel) Prasch; Amy (Andy) Landreman; Sarah (Jason) Winch; Luke (Courtney) Prasch; Jenny (Jeremy) Szymkowiak; Annie Davies; Joey Davies; Kenneth (Cristy) Lewallen; Michael (Valerie) Lewallen; Rebecca (Ryan) Meyer; James Leinweber; Kathleen Leinweber; Jacob Leinweber; Colleen (Michael) Jueds; Ellen (Ben) Koenig and Nicholas Prasch; Great Great Grandchildren: Dylan; Asha; Austin; Sam; Hannah; Grace; Stephen; Drew; Claire; Haley; Isabel; Jackson and Ryan. Special Friends: Cindy Duerkop, Daisy Buhrow and the Boretti family. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Alice was blessed with many family and friends throughout her life. Beside her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Prasch and a grandson, Matthew Prasch, 11 brothers and sisters. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wautoma on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11 AM, with Father Robert Stegmann officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Chicago at a later date. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11th from 4 until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose and on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
