Alice R. Whittow
Waupaca, WI
age 84 – passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, February 7, 2013. She was born on May 2, 1928 in Mineral Hills, Michigan, the daughter of John S. and Helen (Glemboski) Campbell. She married Donald L. Whittow on November 22, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2004.
Alice is survived by her four children: John Whittow of Waupaca, Donna Magnussen of Waupaca, Ellen (Steven) Boehme of Thiensville, and Linda Jackson of West Allis, seven grandchildren: Jennie Jackson, Danielle Jackson, Diane Jackson, Kathryn Magnussen, Stephanie Boehme, Christopher Boehme, and Whitney Boehme. She is also survived by a brother: John S. Campbell of Stambaugh, MI, and a sister: Arlene Mitchell of Marquette, MI. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her parents, a brother: James Campbell, a daughter-in-law: Mary Whittow, and a son-in-law: John Jackson.
Some of Alice’s interests included crocheting, doing puzzles, and listening to Polka music. She especially enjoyed the times she spent with her children and grandchildren.
Per family wishes no service will be held at this time. A family gathering will take place at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
