Allen Olson's Obituary
Allen (Allie) J. Olson, age 82, of Ogdensburg, WI, passed away Monday, August 11, 2008 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Allie was born in the Town of St. Lawrence, Waupaca County on June 30, 1926, the son of the late Chris and Doris (Owen) Olson. On November 19, 1949, Allen married Patsy Cartwright in Waupaca. Allie worked at the Waupaca County Highway Dept. for 28 years and also farmed in the Town of St. Lawrence. He is a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Waupaca. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Allie is survived by his wife: Patsy Olson of Ogdensburg; a son: Brian Olson of Brillion; two granddaughters: Jennifer Behm and Sheila Jacobsen both of Waupaca; five great grandchildren: Cole Helbach; Taylor Korth; Mercedes Jacobsen; Logan Schroeder and Carson Jameson; his sisters: Doris (Polly) Kadolph of San Antonio, Texas and Arwyn Poppe of Bear Creek and a son-in-law; David Behm of Weyauwega. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Lynn Behm, a brother, Philip Olsen and three sisters, Katie Gresen, Dorothy Stevens and Bonnie Geske. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 15 at 11 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church in Waupaca with Pastor Rick Andersen, officiating. Interment will be in the Park Cemetery, Ogdensburg, WI. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4 to 8 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
