ALMA M. GEORGE
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 92 passed away on Friday, September 23, 2005 at her home in Waupaca. She was born July 8, 1913 in Plainfield, WI; daughter of John and Anna (Weed) Elliott. On January 12, 1938, Alma married Herbert Lear in Waupaca, WI. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1957. On January 20, 1960, Alma married Clarence George in Waupaca, WI. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1973. She was also preceded in death by her loving daughter, Mary Ann Oppor on November 29, 1994. Alma was an excellent cook and enjoyed gardening. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Alma is survived by:

Also survived by nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be on Monday, September 26, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Waupaca. Reverened Cathy J.N. Weigand will officiate. A visitation will be held on Sunday Evening, Sept. 25, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca following the services on Monday. A memorial has been established to the First United Methodist Church of Waupaca. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
