Alonzo Lindsey's Obituary
Alonzo Lindsey, age 66 of Amherst Jct., passed away on Tuesday March 15, 2011. Alonzo was born on January 29, 1945 in Pioneer, LA, the son of W D and Willie B. (Johnson) Lindsey.
Alonzo is survived by his fiancée Jenifer Binder of Amherst Jct.; four daughters Tonya Wilkins, Shawnn Lindsey, Alonda Lindsey, and Shawanna Campbell; one grandson Jadrian Lindsey; one brother; and seven sisters.
Alonzo was preceded in death by his parents W D and Willie B. Lindsey, and one brother Bobbie.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19 at 1 P.M. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst. Father Jim Logan will officiate, with burial to be held in Louisiana at a later date. A visitation will be held on Saturday at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home from 12 Noon until the time of the service at 1 P.M.
