Alvin J. Lund's Obituary
Alvin J. Lund age 96 of Waupaca, passed away on Monday September 23, 2013. Alvin was born on March 15, 1917 the son of Christian and Esther (Nelson) Lund.
Alvin is survived by his wife Hattie Lund of Waupaca; two sons John(Cheryl) Lund of McHenry, IL and Robert(Peggy) Lund of Bloomington, MN; his daughter Mary(Christopher Smith) Lund of Rosemount, MN; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents Christian and Esther Lund and his brothers and sisters, and one grandson.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 26, 2013 at 1 P.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Jennifer DeNetz will officiate, with burial to follow in the Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service at 1 P.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca.
