Age 91 - passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011. She was born on March 26, 1920 in Sheboygan, WI, the daughter of Anton and Agatha (Karkazas) Brusok. She married Elmer C. Sill on January 9, 1943 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1999.
Bina is survived by her daughter; Charlene (Fred) Kuenzi of Weyauwega, sons; Tony (Maureen) Sill of Albuquerque, NM, and Erich (Leslie) Sill of Pittsburgh, PA, grandchildren: Jennifer (Max) Novelli, Erich Matthew Sill, Jo (Jeremy) Arney, Kerry (Ben Kees) Kuenzi, Kristy (Ryan) Gill, Jake Kuenzi, Ryan (Karen) Sill, and Erin Sill, and great grandchildren; Alessandro Novelli, Roberto Novelli, and Oliver Gill. Alvina is further survived by a sister; Marie (Roland) Neumann of Sheboygan, brother-in-law; Richard Grener of Vero Beach, FL, nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat; Sam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
Bina was a 1937 graduate of Sheboygan High School and a 1941 graduate of the University of Wisconsin. After her marriage to Elmer Sill, they both worked at the Naval Air Station at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. She was a stay at home mother until her children were in school. She then became an assistant librarian at the Waupaca Library from 1966 until 1989. She had been active in the Waupaca community doing volunteer work, and enjoyed her time as a Cub Scout den mother and a Girl Scout leader.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, WI, with Reverend Jennifer Denetz, officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday morning from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Baldwin's Mill Cemetery, Township of Royalton, Waupaca County, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
