Amos W. Klages' Obituary
Mr. Amos W. Klages, age 90, of Bethany Home in Waupaca, formerly of Winter Springs, Florida , passed away Tuesday, April 1st, 2008 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Mr. Klages was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on April 21, 1917, he was the son of the late William and Caroline (Ehlke) Klages. On June 3, 1941, he married Genevieve Rindy in Chippewa Falls. She preceded him in death on Dec 21, 1980. He later married Mary Cestaro on April 30, 1988. She preceded him in death on Oct 21, 2007. Amos grew up as a farmer in Chippewa Falls and worked as a welder and retiree of WE Energies in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. He is survived by a Son: Wesley (Joy) Klages, Wild Rose; Daughter: Kathy (Ron) Climer, Tryon, NC. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Amos was preceded in death by a son: Alvin Klages in 1992 and a sister: Ann Evenson. The Funeral Service will be held at Parfreyville United Methodist Church, N1979 Cty Hwy K in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca County, Wisconsin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3rd, with Reverend Joan C. Frost officiating. Interment will be in the St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery in Slavia, Florida. Visitation will be held Thursday 1-2 P.M. at Parfreyville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Amos Klages may be made to the Autism Society of South Eastern Wisconsin, 9733 W. St. Martins Road, Franklin, WI 53132. A.J. Holly & Sons LTD
