Thank you for the precious memories!
My Great Aunt Anita was a cool person at heart. Always up with the current events and always willing to embrace the future. Anita was always very interesting to correspond with especially when it came to discussing various historical events of the greater Waupaca area I've gained some great knowledge from her. In the year 2000 I believe when she was 78 years young I took her and her niece Dorothy Bonnell of King, WI and Dorothy's Grandchildren Jason, Kyle and Alexander as well as Ruby and Shannon Gollon of Junction City and the Town of Hull(Stevens Point), WI for a boat ride on the Wisconsin River in Stevens Point when U.S. 10 (now WIS 66) bridge was out and being replaced. What a memorable time we all had on that Easter Sunday. I felt honored that I had the opportunity to see and take pictures and video of Anita for the annual Independence Day Parade in downtown Waupaca for 75 years of service to the Waupaca Area Veterans of Foreign Wars. What a proud feeling that I had to know that Anita was there to comfort and assist the veterans and their families. I also used to see Anita at the Iola Old Car Show in the kitchen making delicious food for the 100 k people that attended for the four day event. It was also a good time when Jr.(Eugene) and Becky would have a Summer get together at their home in rural Iola. I always enjoyed and looked forward when Anita and her family would come to Town of Hull ( Stevens Point) for Christmas at Myrna and the late Joseph Janowski's and Easter at Phil and Jane Gollon's. What precious memories to be had! May God rest Anita's soul. I will remember Anita in my prayers.
I always thought the world of her, she was such a sweetheart. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
Dear "JR" and Family:
She was a wonderful lady and will be dearly missed by all, especially me.
Love Always, Your cousin, Becky (Button) Culton
Dear, dear Anita, you were always one of my most favorite people to work with. Our conversations we always so nice and I always enjoyed talking with you. I have never known a more hard working young woman such as yourself. I was always amazed by you. The Lord has brought home one of his treasures. Rest and enjoy your angel wings. Deb Trinrud
Beautiful friend for many years!! Love to all the family!
I first met her at Central Lanes - she was a good bowler and a fun person. One thing I remember about her is that she never wore socks in her bowling shoes. I also remember she was very family oriented. She will be missed by many.
I remember bowling with her. She was always such a blast to be around. In later years when I was cashiering at Pick N Save she would come thru my line and always be so cheerful and happy. At times I would have to remind her whom I was and then she would remember.
