Aunt Ann was a quiet loving presence at our family gatherings. I remember her shy smile and chuckle. She was so proud of her family and their accomplishments. I am sad that the weather is preventing me from being at the service to honor her memory but I will be with you all in spirit.
My Mother Geraldine Reinke and Ann were classmates and dearest of friends, sharing each other's company in retirement both out and about, and chatting on the phone when their infirmities began to limit their ability to be together. When I shared the news with Mom, who herself now is wheelchair bound and has multiple disabilities, she expressed regret that her friend is gone, but joy that now Ann has perfect healing and release from her sufferings. Thank you to Ann and her family for being such a comfort and joy to my Mom for so many years.
Ann and Marv were always so gracious to me and my family. When we arrived in Waupaca they both delivered baked goods to us. They were so active in the family of faith at Trinity. Ann had such a calming demeanor. It was always a pleasure getting to visit with Ann as she turn the conversation away from herself to others. My sympathy to all family and friends. I remember being at the Mather home on South Main Street
playing ball with Warren. Ann was always so very nice to me.
Her gentle kindness will not be forgotten.
