Ann Marie Peterson's Obituary
Ann Peterson, age 58 of Amherst, WI passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. Ann was born on September 30, 1960 the daughter of Herman and Mary (Walashek) Lassa. Ann married Scott Peterson on May 16, 1981 in Stevens Point. She worked as an input operator for Sentry Insurance for many years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and most of all, spending time with her family.
Ann is survived by her husband, Scott Peterson of Amherst; daughter, Katie (Nate) Trzebiatowski of Amherst Jct.; sons, Pat and Paul Peterson of Amherst; parents, Herman and Mary Lassa of Stevens Point; sister, Kathy (Ken) Glodowski of Amherst; brothers, Mike (Denise) Lassa of Stevens Point, Patrick (Darcy) Lassa of Amherst Jct., Ken Lassa (Jim Wanta) of Bevent; mother-in-law, Sunnie Peterson of Amherst; brother-in-law, Todd Peterson of Meeteetse, WY; sister-in-laws, Cheryl Bloczynski of Stevens Point and Susan Peterson of Sussex; brother-in-law, Dale (Shaina) Peterson of Amherst; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ann is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Allen Peterson and brother-in-law, Michael Bloczynski.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 7th at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church on State Hwy 54 Almond. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst with Rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held on Thursday from 10 AM until time of service at the Church. The family would like to thank Aspirus Hospice and Dr. Christopher Peterson and the entire staff of Aspirus Cancer Center for the loving care of Ann.
