Anna Struck's Obituary
Anna K. Struck, age 93, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Friday, May 27th, 2011 at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Olson Hall, King. She was born in Effingham, IL., on February 23, 1918, a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Idler) Reuther. Anna married Norman F. Struck on December 12, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1986. She enjoyed gardening, bowling and playing cribbage. Anna was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Survivors include a Daughter: Kay (Ken) Jaschob, Waupaca, WI; Son-in-law Hugh (Sharon) Hayes, Ogdensburg, WI; Grandchildren: Michael (Mary) Hayes; Daniel (Anita) Hayes; Patrick (Angie) Hayes; Kelly Hayes; Kathy Hayes; Nathan (Gretchen) Jaschob; Joel (Fiancee-Kelli Kosmatka) Jaschob; 11 Great Grandchildren; and a Sister: Clara Moore, Mattoon, IL. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Norman, a son - Ronald, a daughter - Norma, five brothers and three sisters. Funeral Services will be held at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca at 3 PM on Thursday, June 2nd, 2011, with Rev. Loren Fritz officiating. Interment will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Farmington, Waupaca Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 1 PM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Waupaca. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Michael Bauer and to the staff at Olson Hall 3rd floor - Wisconsin Veterans Home for their kind and compassionate care.
