Ansel Tellock's Obituary
Ansel J. Tellock, age 92, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away Thursday, March 24th, 2005. This great life started on a farm in Symco, Wisconsin on September 30, 1912. Ansel led a humble life with his parents Levi and Jessie (Elliot)Tellock. At a young age he left the farm to work for the St. Paul RR building grand wooden tressels. During the war he worked as a machinist in Milwaukee where he met and married Harriet Fuchs on November 1, 1947. Together they moved to Sussex, WI where they built a home and a family. This is where Ansel became a true master carpenter working for Sussex Lumber. They enjoyed their retirement years in Peris, CA where Ansel reined as president of the Senior Center for many years running. They chose, however, to spend their final years here in Wild Rose closer to the family they loved. Ansel was a man with a terrific sense of humor, always ready with a joke, a silly story, or a practical joke. He was truly fortunate for he loved his work with a passion continuing his carpentry skills well into his 80's. He loved his family dearly and could always be depended upon in a time of need. His family will always hold his memory dear to our hearts. He is survived by Children: William Wilson, Cadott, WI; Nancy (David) Krause, Bowler, WI; Andrew J. Tellock, Sussex, WI; Levi W. Tellock, Wild Rose, WI; Cindy (Dennis) Procknow, Wild Rose, WI; Grandchildren: David, Michelle, Josie, Laura, Diana, Terry, Amber, Deliverance, Levi Jr., Aaron (Sasha), Jeremy, Crystal (Paxton) and Tyrone (Jennifer); Sister: Rebecca Holdren, Oshkosh, WI. Ansel is further survived by many cherished great grandchildren and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Harriet; sister, Thelma and a brother, Winston. A visitation to remember Ansel's life will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
