Anthony "Tony" Yenter's Obituary
Anthony F. Yenter age 81, of Amherst Jct., passed away on Thursday August 5, 2021. Tony was born on October 19, 1939, the son of Frank and Regina (Konkol) Yenter. Tony was married to Joan Wierzba and they had six children together. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and in his flower garden.
Tony was survived by his children Bryan (Sara) Yenter of Chippewa Falls, WI, Bruce (Stephanie) Yenter of Amherst, WI, Paul (Karen) Yenter of Amherst Jct. WI, Dawn (Brent) Holderman of Amherst, WI, Kevin Yenter of Amherst Jct. WI and Tina (David) Kostuch of Amherst Jct. WI; Fourteen grandchildren Emily (Cody) Harris, Sydney (Jordan) Brozik, Samantha Yenter, Sage Yenter, Mitchell Yenter, Breanna (Drake) Pearson, Alayna Holderman, Kelsey Holderman, Bryce Holderman, Carson Yenter, Dylan Kostuch, Kaitlyn Kostuch, Cassidy Kostuch and Riley Kostuch; Three Great Grandchildren Ehvy Yenter, Everleigh and Kane Brozik; four sisters Rosalie Jordy, Maxine (Ronald) Suski, Delores Kizewski and Maryanne (Melvin) Windorski, and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Regina Yenter; grandson Ian Yenter; two sisters Elaine and Bernadine; one brother Jerome and one brother-in-law Luther.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday August 13, 2021 at 11 am at the St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, WI. Father Jerzy Rebacz will officiate, burial of cremains will take place at St. James Catholic Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held at church on Friday from 9 am until the time of the service at 11am. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
