Ardyce M. Hansen's Obituary
Ardyce Mae Hansen, age 88, of Waupaca, WI went home peacefully on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 to join hearts again with her loving husband, Oviatt. Ardyce was born in Waupaca on March 14, 1930, the daughter of the late Darroll and Evelyn (Smith) Olson. On March 26, 1949, she married Oviatt J. Hansen in Iola and he preceded her in death on June 27, 2005. Ardyce worked for many years at Katie's Restaurant and Waupaca Cafe. Later on she worked at Moore O Matic. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, baking and cooking. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Ardyce is survived by her children: Dennis Hansen, Waupaca; Debbie (Roger) Lind, Grand Chute and Mark (Mary) Hansen, Waupaca; 7 grandchildren: Jamie (Kim) Brown; Heidi (Nathan) Holly; Lindsay (Bill) Tate; Mandi Salter; Alyssa (Gary Smith) Rice; Britany (Ben Harn) Brown and Ryan (Jen) Hansen; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Ardyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Oviatt and her brother, Carylse Olson. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, December 31 at 11 AM at the Holly Funeral Home, Waupaca with Pastor Bryan Robertson, officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday morning from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in Ardyce's name for the COPD Foundation.
