Send hugs and prayers for all the family! With beautiful memories of Aunt Arlene, Love Vicki and Don Walther

I remember Aunt Arlene as a beautiful, articulate, creative woman. I was very young then, but have memories of Aunt Arlene twirling around the Pickeral Lake Grange Hall floor with Uncle Gordon. More than likely, she made her dress and his shirt, just as my mom used to do. She was a hard-working farm wife who kept a beautiful home. At one point she created a farm equipment museum in the basement of their house, we were lucky to be able to see that and my dad enjoyed talking about the things he saw. Geraldine and Genevieve were a few years older than my cousin Leah and me, and I remember hearing Aunt Arlene say that "the girls picked 100 quarts of strawberries today "at the Holman farm where we also picked berries. We were quietly admiring their speed and striving to reach the same goal. Being very busy on both farms, we usually saw Gordon and Arlene at the family gatherings at South Park and Grandma and Grandpa Green's house. Happy times! I can imagine Aunt Arlene is now with Uncle Gordon and Roger, and they are probably playing some heavenly card game or dancing. Or she is tending a heavenly flower garden for all to admire and enjoy!
My heart goes out to Genevieve, Geraldine, Richard, and Rhonda at this time.
Your cousin, Nancy Green Kayhart
