Arlene L. Nichols' Obituary
Arlene L. Nichols, age 82, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. Arlene was born in Oshkosh, WI on May 14, 1926, the daughter of the late Walter and Alice (Droysen) Schatzley. Arlene married Rev. Kenneth E. Nichols on June 13, 1953 in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2001. Arlene and Rev. Nichols served the Assembly of God Churchs in New London and Tomahawk. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca. Arlene is survived by her children: Dr. David R. (Sherry) Nichols, Rush City, MN; Melody Rasmussen, Waupaca; James (Peggy) Nichols, New London; John Nichols, Waupaca; Peter Nichols, Kingsford, MI and Paul (Wendy) Nichols, New London; nine grandsons: two granddaughters and three great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 11 AM at First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca with Reverend Bob Bohn, officiating. Burial will be in the Spencer Lake Memorial Park. Friends may call on Weds. evening from 4 to 8 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Thurs. morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the church. A Memorial Fund has been established in Arlene's Name.
