ARLENE M. WOOLSEY
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 89, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at UW-Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born July 8, 1922 in Fremont, WI; daughter of Fayette and Kietha (Looker) Prentice. On July 19, 1945, Arlene married William Woolsey in Weyauwega, WI. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2005. Arlene had been a school teacher at the Golden Hill School in Rural from 1950 until the school closed. She then taught in the Waupaca School System for a few years. Arlene is survived by:

Grandchildren: The Reverend Deborah Woolsey of Sussex, WI
Anne (Jim) McPherson of Waupaca, WI
Samuel (Mindy) Woolsey of Waupaca, WI
Sarah Woolsey of Waupaca, WI
Great-Granddaughter: Aaralyn Lisa Woolsey of Waupaca, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Woolsey; a son, Terry Woolsey; a brother, Ken Prentice; and a nephew, Mike Prentice. A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Deborah Woolsey will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 – 1:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lind Center Cemetery in the Town of Lind following the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Arlene Woolsey. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
