Arlette Garceau's Obituary
ARLETTE A. GARCEAU
POY SIPPI, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN Age 60 is at rest after a serious illness on January 26, 2007 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. She was born July 18, 1946 in Chicago, IL; daughter of Clarence J. and Jeanette (LaFrancis) Garceau. Arlette retired from Crete Trucking Co. as a long haul truck driver due to disability. Her trucking years were her happiest days. She was a long-time resident of Wild Rose, but most recently lived in Poy Sippi. In retirement, Arlette enjoyed crocheting, talking on the phone with her grandson, Shane, and playing with her little poodle, Bridget. We’ll remember Arlette most for her gift of gab and sense of humor; Arlette was always Arlette – never tried to be something she wasn’t. True to herself. Remember the dash – Arlette is the beloved mother of Lynette Waneka of Colorado and devoted grandmother of Shane, loving sister of Linda (Robert) Manske and George (Kathy) Garceau. Fond aunt to niece and goddaughter, Theresa Manske, nephews, Robert J. (Karen) Manske, Timothy (Amy) Manske, Kevin (Carol) Garceau, Curtis (Jamie) Garceau, dear great aunt to Nicole and Brent Manske, Megan and Mason Manske, and Cody and Reily Garceau. A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 2:00 PM at First Lutheran Church, 708 Prospect Street, Poy Sippi, WI. Reverend David Sielaff will officiate. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the church. Burial of cremains will be at Poy Sippi Cemetery in the Town of Poy Sippi in the spring. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
