Arley Swanson's Obituary
Arley T. Swanson, age 83, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Saturday, August 1st, 2009 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born in Amherst, WI., on January 5, 1926, a son of the late Theodore and Selma (Johnson) Swanson. He married Harriet M. (Petersen) Frailing on June 6, 1956 in Waupaca. She preceded him in death on June 30, 1988. Arley served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include a Son: Allen (Karen) Frailing, Iola, WI; Daughter: Bonnie (Ron) Wendt, Pine River, WI. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arley was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Harriet, 2 grandchildren and 2 brothers. Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11 AM on Friday, August 7th, 2009, with Pastor Alyson Janke, officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of Crystal River Nursing and Rehab. Center as well as the staff at Riverside Medical Center ICU for all of their kindness, compassion and care.
