Arthur Turrubiates' Obituary
Arthur Turrubiates of Waupaca passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 12th, 2020 at the age of 61. He was born September 19th, 1959 in Waupaca, WI to Genero and Julia (Ledesma) Turrubiates.
Arthur was a loyal employee of Presto for over 40 years. He was a member of First Assembly of God. He was a respected and loved member of the community and everyone knew him by his infectious smile, dry sense of humor and wiliness to help friends and family. A true Wisconsin fan being a diehard fan of the Packers and Brewers. Among his many hobbies he enjoyed UFC fights, music and wouldn’t miss a good rummage sale. His greatest joy in life was spending time with family and being with the love of his life for over 39 years.
Arthur is survived by his wife Alamar Turrubiates, his children Teresa (Ancelmo) Ponce, Monica Turrubiates (Leroy Duffus), Caitlan (Robert) Shurts, Daniel Turrubiates. Three grandchildren Lillian Duffus-Turrubiates, Donnado Ponce, and Stella Duffus-Turrubiates; His sibling, Rosa Turrubiates, Roberto (LeAnn) Turrubiates, San Juanita Rodriguez, Maria (Bruce) Klepps, Raul Turrubiates, Joseph (Donna) Turrubiates, Julia (Eusebio) Morales, Lisa Turrubiates, Michael Turrubiates; His other family, Maro (Santos) Saldana, Raul Saldana, Gloria Sotelo, Juan Saldana, Fredrico Saldana, Chester Saldana, Peter (Tina) Saldana, Abel (San Juanita) Saldana; nieces, nephews, and other friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Genero & Julia Turrubiates Sr., his in-laws Amado & Teresa Saldana, his two children Arturo Daniel & Donnado Arturo Turrubiates, his brothers Genero Jr. Turrubiates, Umero Saldana, Ricardo Saldana, Amado Jr. Saldana, Antonio Saldana.
Due to Covid-19 an outside graveside ceremony will be held at the Lakeside Cemetery in Waupaca on Monday 19, 2020 at 11 a.m. The family is asking everyone to wear a mask.
