Aubrey C. (A.C.) Ray, age 92, of Iola, WI., passed away on Monday, July 3rd, 2006 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born in Richland Center, WI., on July 29, 1913, a son of the late Charles and Alma Josephine (Householder) Ray. He married Dolores J. Severson on April 1, 1942 in Richland Center, WI. Aubrey and Dolores lived in the Iola area since 1957. They owned and operated the Iola Cafe from 1960-1964 and they also operated a Carnival business.. Survivors include his Wife: Dolores J. Ray, Iola, WI; Daughter: Alma Ray, Fond du lac, WI; Son: Aubrey C. Ray Jr., Iola, WI; 4 Grandchildren: Flonnie (David) Pliska, Waupaca; Connie (Eugene) Brown, Michigan; Jason (Kelly) Ray, North Carolina; Betty Ray, Green Bay, WI. Great Grandchildren: Brenda, Sandra, Jessica, Amanda, Missy, Matthew, Eugene, Cole and Jared. Great Great Grandchild: Aubrey; a Sister: Helen (Ikey) Fowler, Richland Center, WI; a Brother: Bernard (Janice) Ray, Richland Center, WI; Aubrey was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Fred, Harold and Donald Ray and by 1 Sister: Lena Eleberry. Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 13th, with Reverend Wally Zastrow officiating. Interment will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery Town Scandinavia, WI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
