Audrey H. Jacowski's Obituary
Age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Ministry Saint Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. She was born August 18, 1936 in the Town of Sharon, Portage Co. the daughter of the late Stanley and Grace (Bruski) Mack. She attended local grade schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School. On January 14, 1956, Audrey married Andrew M. Jacowski at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Audrey had worked at US Census Bureau, Del Monte Co, Big Hills Realty Co. ,Stevens Point Journal, as a poll worker for the Towns of Belmont and Buena Vista, and as Secretary for the 7th Congressional District office. Audrey greatly enjoyed spending time conversing with her family and friends, especially the St. Maximilian Kolbe Breakfast Club. Audrey is survived by her husband, Andrew M. Jacowski of Almond; seven children, Lonny (Linda) Jacowski of Plover and their children, Melissa (Joachim) Mangen and Jon (Stacy) Jacowski and their daughter, Brooke Jacowski; Marla (Ed) Cowden of Westport, CT and their sons, Peter and Ned Cowden; Laureen (Dennis) Wied of Milwaukee and their daughter, Rachel (Erik) Wiedeman; Barry (Kathy) Jacowski of Almond and their daughter, Nicole Jacowski; Todd (Jeanne) Jacowski of Stevens Point and their son, Benjamin Klein and his children, Elijah Glodowski and Xanis Klein; Andrew J. Jacowski of Waupaca and Matthew (Kim) Jacowski of Plover and their children, Gracelyn Breitenstein and Ty Jacowski; one sister, Sylvia (Phil) Coerper of Milwaukee. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Grace Mack; an infant daughter, Rachelle Jacowski; a grandson, Robert Jacowski; and a granddaughter, Amy Jacowski. A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in the Town of Buena Vista, WI. Father Jim Trempe will preside. A visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 20 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst with a General Rosary at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the church. Burial will take place in the spring at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Lanark. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Audrey H. Jacowski.
