B. Jane Lowe's Obituary
B. Jane Lowe, age 84, of Waupaca, WI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at her residence. Jane was born in Appleton on August 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Francis "Bud" and Helen (Duffy) Brandherm. On July 16, 1949, she married Russell E. Lowe, Sr. in Menasha. Jane owned Jane's Music Shop in Waupaca and also worked for 11 years for Waupaca Co. Human Services before retiring. She was the "snaplady" for Creative Caring Hearts and made flannel & fleece quilts for her family and grandchildren. She also knitted prayer shawls for St. Mary Magdalene Church and was a member of the Church & Resurrection Choirs. She also loved gardening, camping always taking care of everyone else and made the best cookies ever.
Jane is survived by her husband: Russell Lowe, Sr., King, WI; her children: Constance Van Zummeren, Waupaca; Barbara Lowe, Milwaukee; Russell Lowe, Jr., Eau Claire; Tom Lowe, Waupaca; Richard (Sheila) Lowe, Waupaca; Mary (Tim) Angsten, Waupaca; Peter (Cindie) Lowe, Sherwood; 24 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 2 nieces; her step-mother: Helen (Krueger) Brandherm, Waupaca; sister-in-law: Ruth Maxine Lowe, Waupaca; half sister: Marcia Marta, Waupaca and half brother: Robert Brandherm, Madison. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Francis (Bud) and Helen Duffy Brandherm, her son, Donald, a sister, Helen Bratthauer and a grandson, Kevin Charlson. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 13 at 11 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Waupaca with Father Amalraj Roche, presiding. Visitation will be on Monday morning from 10 AM until the time of mass at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Creative Caring Hearts.
