Barbara M. Davies' Obituary
Barbara M. Davies, age 78, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Bethany Home. Barbara was born in Waupaca on May 14, 1936, the daughter of Donald and Bernice (Nelson) Cook. On November 27, 1954 Barbara married Richard P. Davies in Waupaca and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1998. She worked for many years as a secretary at Waupaca High School. She is a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Waupaca.
Barbara is survived by her daughters: Deborah Anderson, Waupaca and Jodi (Dan Rodgers) Davies, Elcho, WI; her grandchildren: Amy (Russ) Crabb; Luke Anderson; Zachary Anderson; Adam (Fiancee-Mary Wanty) Anderson & Briana Davies and her great grandchildren: Jimmy, Flynn & Barrett Crabb & Nathaniel, Noah, Nicholas & Kaleb Anderson. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother & Step-father, Bernice & George Jeffers, her father and a sister, Karen Lapins.
The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, October 21 at 10:30 AM at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Waupaca with Reverend Nigel Bousfield, officiating. Burial will follow in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
