Barbara L. Struble's Obituary
Barbara L. Struble, age 75, of Black River Falls, WI and formerly of Neillsville, WI, passed away quietly with family at her side Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point, WI.
She was born in Beloit, WI to Lawrence (Chuck) and Alice (Moen) Struble on August 29, 1942. She attended Neillsville Public Schools. Barbara married Devere E. Krejci, January 11, 1958. They divorced in 2005.
Barbara worked at the Memorial Medical Center as a nursing assistant and later at Neillsville Public Schools with special needs children. She moved to Black River Falls where she worked at Family Heritage Care Center and at Riverfront Inc. Her passion for helping others was reflected in a career of working with those who were disabled and disadvantaged.
Barbara was known for her sense of humor and enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, live music and spending time with family and friends. She was a lover of animals, especially Spanky, her beloved Pekingese.
Barbara is survived by four children, Scott Krejci and wife Debbie (Indiana), Pamela Radcliffe (Minneapolis), Kevin Krejci and wife Cindy of Medford, WI, Ron Krejci and wife Mandy of Neillsville, WI., one brother, Dean Struble and wife Carla of Amherst, WI. Nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence (Chuck) Struble and Alice Struble (Linderman), and infant son DeWayne Krejci.
A Celebration of Life service and internment at the Neillsville Cemetery will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 10 A.M. followed by a reception and refreshments for family and friends at Tuft's Mansion.
