Barbara Wichmann's Obituary
Barbara A. Wichmann, age 77, of Wild Rose, WI passed away Sunday, May 14, 2005 at the Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital. She was born in Evanston, Illinois on March 26, 1929, the daughter of Leslie and Dorothy (Smith) Forsyth. Barbara married Rodney Wichmann on July 25, 1953 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a member of Mt. Morris Holden Lutheran Church, Wild Rose Hospital Auxiliary and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Planning Committee. She is survived by Husband: Rodney Wichmann, Wild Rose, WI; Daughters: Lynne Wichmann, Wild Rose, WI; Lee Ann (Robert Ponto) Wichmann, Eugene, OR; Lisa (Kenneth) LaClair, La Plata, MD; Grandchildren: Alyson, Elizabeth and Jon Bechard, Wild Rose, WI; Ryan, Anna and Kaaren Ponto, Eugene, OR; Danielle and Alex LaClair, La Plata, MD; Brother: George (Ardyth) Forsyth, Nevada, IA; Sister: Nancy (Tom) Flanders, Whitewater, WI; Family Friends: Silvia (Mike) Carter and their daughters, Andrea, Sammy and Jenny, Wild Rose, WI; Pat Wagner, Appleton, WI; Dale Bechard, Appleton, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; son, Lawrence and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ray and Alice Wichmann. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church with Reverend Blaine MacNeil officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Morris Holden Cemetery, Town of Mt. Morris, Waushara County, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose and on Thursday at the church one hour prior to the service. A memorial has been established.
