Belvina H. Madson's Obituary
Mrs. Belvina H. Madson, age 86, of Scandinavia, WI , died Friday, July 20th, 2007 at Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca, Wisconsin. Mrs. Madson was born in Town of Harrison, Wisconsin on January 25, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Helen (Lorbiecki) Kostuch. Belvina attended Norske Grade School. She worked at the Peterson Restaurant and then at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King. Belvina married Julian Madson on October 16, 1943 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. They farmed in Sheridan for 3 years and then moved to the the Town of Scandinavia and farmed until 2000. She was a member or St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and was very active in the St. Catherine's Guild. Belvina enjoyed gardening, sewing, bowling, dancing and was a 4H leader. She is survived by her Husband: Julian Madson, Scandinavia; Daughter in law: Pam Madson, Scandinavia; Grandson: Todd Madson, Scandinavia; Granddaughter: Paula Madson, Scandinavia; Step Grandson: Kevin Mork, Scandinavia; Sisters: Loretta Eiden, Stevens Point; Bernice Rucinski, Schofield; Sisters in law: Dorothy Kostuch, Milwaukee; Beatrice Kostuch, Milwaukee. Belvina is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Alexander & Helen Kostuch, Son: Stephen J. Madson, Step Mother: Katherine (Lorbiecki) Kostuch, Brothers: Benedict, Leo & Chester Kostuch and infant brother Ambrose Kostuch. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, July 25th, with Father Brian Belongia officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery Waupaca, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held Tuesday 4-8 P.M. at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and Wednesday 9:30-10:30 A.M. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community. A Prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been estblished. A.J. Holly & Sons LTD
