Benjamin Betro's Obituary
Benjamin D. Betro, age 22, of Amherst Jct., WI., passed away on Friday, January 19th, 2007 as the result of an automobile accident in the Town of Farmington, Waupaca Co, WI. He was born in Stevens Point, on July 17, 1984, a son of Darryl Betro and Janeen (Firkus) Groshek. Ben was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Amherst. Ben's most enjoyable moments were the times he spent with his family. Ben was the best brother ever and will be missed deeply by everyone who knew him. Ben was also an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Ben loved going on fishing trips to Canada with his family and friends. Ben worked for Town and Country Electric in Plover. Survivors include his Father: Darryl (Michele) Betro, Stevens Point, WI; Mother: Janeen (Jim) Groshek, Amherst Jct., WI; Sisters & Brothers: Bailey Betro, Stevens Point, WI; Bethany Betro, Stevens Point, WI; Kolby Groshek, Amherst Jct., WI; Ashley Groshek, Bloomington, MN; Fiancé ': Maureen Repinski, Amherst, WI and her family: Mark, Mary Beth and Matthew Repinski, Amherst, WI; Paternal Grandparents: Adolph (Beverly) Betro, Stevens Point, WI; Maternal Grandparents: Joe (Theresa) Montgomery, Stevens Point, WI; Paternal Step-Grandparents: Duane (Caroline) Schmudlach, Berlin, WI; Maternal Step-Grandparents: Conrad (Nancy) Groshek, Eland, WI; and his dog: Shaba. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Amherst, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 24th, 2007 with Father Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, with a Prayer Service to be held at 7 PM. Visitation also on Wednesday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church.
