WAUPACA, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF SCHAUMBURG, ILLINOIS Age 96 passed away on Monday, December 4, 2006 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born August 10, 1910 in Chicago, IL; daughter of Charles and Lillian Swanson. On July 14, 1951, Bernice married Alex C. Oman in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1968. Bernice was a registered nurse at Norwegian American Hospital in Chicago, IL and also worked as an industrial and private duty nurse for 40 years. Bernice is survived by:
Step-Daughter: Nancy Oman of Waupaca, WI She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Roy Pietsch, second husband, Alex Oman, and her step-brother, Gilbert. A Graveside Service will be on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Schaumburg, IL. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
