Betty Bonnell's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Bonnell, age 82, of Waupaca, passed away Thursday, November 9th, 2006 at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega. Mrs. Bonnell was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on December 29, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Edward R. and Bessie (Merriam) Nelsen. Betty was known as the original Lady of the Lakes. She owned an operated Nelsen's Cottages for the last 60 years of her life. She is survived by Daughter: Kathy (Roy) Weiner, New London; Sons: Edward (Elaine) Bonnell, Franklin, WI; Robert S. Bonnell, Brooksville; Florida, Dr. John Bonnell, Waupaca; Grandchildren: Brian Bonnell, Milwaukee; John (Beth) W. Bonnell, Orlando; Kristina (Dan Diaz) Merriam, Chandler, AZ.. One Great Granddaughter: Mercedes Diaz. Memorial Services will be held at Shepherd of the Lakes Church in Waupaca on Saturday, Nov 18, 2006 at 11 AM. Reverend David Martin will officiate. A.J.
