age 69 – passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh, WI. She was born on August 23, 1942 in Waupaca, WI, the daughter of Alfred and Alice (Holt) Lund. She married James Chesna on October 2, 1965 in Waupaca.
Betty is survived by her husband, James Chesna, her son: Timothy (Valerie) Chesna of Appleton, three grandchildren: Austin, Mackayla, and Hayden Chesna, and a brother: Marvin (Bonnie) Lund of Green Bay. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Betty was a graduate of Waupaca High School. She had been a meat wrapper and check out clerk at the former Dake’s Grocery Store in Waupaca.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Waupaca, WI with the Reverend Larry Gross, officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery in Waupaca. A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
