age 82 - passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Iola Living Assistance in Iola, WI. She was born on September 4, 1929 in Avoca, WI, the daughter of Jacob and Violet (Williams) Frederickson. She married Harland L. Harris on August 18, 1952 in Mineral Point, WI.
Betty is survived by her husband, Harland, children; Linda (Larry) Raddatz of Nelsonville, Leland (Christy) Harris of Stevens Point, Duane Harris (Friend; Judy Watland) of Amherst Jct., Don Harris of Nelsonville, Ron Harris of Amherst Jct., and Kurt (Betty Jo) Harris of Amherst Jct., five grandchildren and six great grandchildren, sisters; Fern (John) Kruel and Della Norby, both of Montford, a brother; Earl (Lucy) Frederickson of Stevens Point, and a sister-in-law; Ella Frederickson of Nelsonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother; James Frederickson.
Betty was a very active member of the Nelsonville Lutheran Church and had taught Sunday school for 40 years.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 12:30 PM at the Nelsonville Lutheran Church in Nelsonville, WI, with the Reverend Gretchen Anderson, officiating. Interment will be in the Nelsonville Lutheran Cemetery near Nelsonville. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, and again on Monday from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at the church. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
