Betty B. Roads' Obituary
Betty B. Roads, age 96, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Brookdale Senior Living in Stevens Point, WI. She was born February 24, 1921 in Shelbina, MO; daughter of Seldon “Ted” and Katherine (Bryan) Barkelew. Betty lived in Glendale, WI for a number of years before moving to Stevens Point in 2013. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
Betty is survived by her three children, Daniel (Mary) Roads of Brookfield, WI, Sandy (Steve) Boehm of Almond, WI, and Steven (Peggy) Roads of Albemarle, NC; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothy Tapp.
Per Betty’s wishes, there will be no services. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
