BETTY J. STEA
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN Age 86, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Crystal River Nursing Home in Waupaca, WI surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 12, 1924 in the Town of Springwater, Waushara Co., WI; daughter of Edward and Hazel (Jones) Somers. On August 9, 1947, Betty married Trygve Stea at Horeb Presbyterian Church in Wild Rose. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2002. She was a faithful member of West Holden Lutheran Church in Wautoma. Betty had a deep faith in her Lord and especially loved spending time with her family. She was very involved with different activities through her church, including, mission work, making quilts, and knitting / crocheting hats for newborns and for children at many local schools. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Betty is survived by:

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Hazel Somers; her husband, Trygve Stea; and three infant children, Roger, Duane, and Margaret. A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the West Holden Lutheran Church in Wautoma, WI. Pastor Todd Murken will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 – 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will be at West Holden Lutheran Cemetery following the service on Thursday.
